with Jennifer Wells Virtual Two day Demonstration Workshop using the Zoom Platform
January 9 & 16 | Time: 9:30- 12:00a.m. ET
Learning to design and fabricate your own settings is a great way to liberate your making process. In this workshop we will explore the wonderful world of making settings for stones, coins, ceramic shards, your child’s first lock of hair and many other beautiful objects that are so special they deserve to have a home built for them. Part one of this workshop will cover bezel, tab, frame, and basket settings. Students will be working with copper and/or silver depending on their piece and individual desires. Some basic metalworking skills such as sawing, filing and soldering will be needed in this workshop. I will demo step-by-step processes and have a cheat sheet PDF available for students to reference later in their own work.
