One of a kind Wedding Rings
The past year offered me the opportunity to create an engagement and wedding band set for a lovely couple based in Colorado.

Her engagement ring and wedding band are stacked together and his wedding band has carvings of two mountain ranges on the inside and outside of the band. All the rings were created using the lost wax casting method. In this process, I first carve the rings in a hard wax, the wax is sent to a casting house which surrounds it with a plaster like substance. Once the plaster is hardened, the wax is burned out and molten metal is poured into the mould. The ring emerges as it’s metal self and is then polished and the stones are set.
All rings are 18 kt white gold set with synthetic diamonds and alexandrite stones. You can see in the photos the center stone, the alexandrite is different colours. That is one of the properties of this specific stone, it has a range of colours that it changes to.
